We were supposed to have transportation from the airport to apartment. No one was there. Communicating with the property manager he was unaware of the transportation arrangements and finally sent a car which was too small. We ended up having to pay for a van after a 2.5 hour wait. After traveling 16.5 hours we didn’t appreciate that. We paid for the apartment to accommodate 4 adults , we didn’t have enough towels which we called on and received 2 towels on Friday. They didn’t have the shampoo and soaps in both bathrooms, they didn’t have any frying pans in the kitchen except a very small one which was useless as we had to cook one piece of meat at a time. They didn’t have any paper towels as stated. There weren’t any instructions on using the oven or the washer and dryer. Also the large bathroom shower kept filling up with water as you showered so you had to shut the shower off let it drain and then turn it back on to complete your shower. In renting a property which we have done many times, it just didn’t meet our expectations and definitely didn’t have the items stated in the listing. Also air conditioning is only in one bedroom and living room which is not stated. My husband had to put the fan together so we could have it in our room. We trust the listings to be accurate that’s how we make our decision to book a VRBO or any other property.

We had a lovely stay in Rome and Rocco’s apartment was perfect. The apartment is spacious and very clean. It is supplied with all the amenities we needed and getting to and in the apartment was easy and fast. The highlight of our stay was the location. It is perfect. The colosseum is two blocks away and 5 minutes walking. There are restaurants, stores and taxi stops all within a short walk. We would definitely stay here again and we highly recommend this property.

Amazing accommodation, travelled with one teen and one high functioning autistic boy of 9 year old as a family, so this location, 5-7 mts walk to train station, clean, quite, good restaurants, pizza place with a 24hrs store in the same road, free water fountain on the road end, you name it you got it in this place.. these are not the best part, best part is the service, robin and taj made this stay so easy on us, robin promised early checkin( out flight landed at 7.45am and we were jet lagged no sleep with two kids, apartment was ready by 10.30am (check in time was around 4pm)for us), that was amazing help.. they also were very considerate on one of our friend who we didnt meet for almost 20years to meet us and stay with us for a night..service is the best part on this one. at the end of the first day our kids started calling this place as their apartment in rome :) we are not going to stay any other place if we go back to rome.. we love this apartment as ours :)

My family and I just returned home from Rome and our stay at Rocco's Home at the Colosseum, and I cannot even begin to tell you how awesome our stay was. The location is excellent and an easy ride from the airport, with a transfer that our host (Max) arranged for us at a great price. Its location is 2 blocks from the colosseum and the Metro, with a 24-hour grocery store right down the block. There were many eateries, restaurants, and Gelertias close by. If you are interested in archeological sites, as we are, this location is close to the Basilica of San Clemente and offers a wonderful example of all that lies under the buildings of Rome. The home was well equipped with everything we needed: a kitchen, towels, sheets, etc., and was all prepared for my family when we arrived. Max, our host, offered recommendations for dining all around town and was in communication with us to make sure we had everything we needed. But honestly, there was nothing that we needed after we arrived. Max also helped us with our return transport to the airport, one for my immediate family and one for my partner, who was traveling on to Sicily. The transportation was on time and friendly, and within budget. Again, I cannot say enough about our host and this rental property; it really made the trip wonderful! Jessica T.

Charming Roman Apartment

We had a fantastic stay at this charming Roman apartment! The location was absolutely ideal—just a few blocks from the Colosseum and nestled in a wonderful neighborhood full of local character and history. The building itself had that classic Roman personality, adding to the authenticity of our experience.Our host was outstanding—communication was clear and prompt from the beginning, and they were both friendly and highly professional. Every detail was thoughtfully handled, making check-in smooth and our stay comfortable.We truly loved our time here and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a real Roman experience with modern comforts and a top-notch host!

This vacation home is spacious and comfy. Massimo was amazing. He was easy to contact, willing to help with taxis and gave us excellent suggestions for dinner. The location is perfect with the coliseum close as well as a grocery store and restaurants.

the apartment was just what we needed. It was in a nice location a few minutes walk from the Colosseum. Max met and showed us round the apartment which was clean, comfortable and well equipped with equipment and staples. He was a great host with lots of recommendations for restaurants and offers of help with taxis’ from the airport. We had a fantastic meal in Contrario round the corner and a cheap but nice meal is the small restaurant opposite. We would definitely recommend this apartment and would return if in Rome.

Die Wohnung war top! Sehr zentral am Kolloseum, aber dennoch ruhig.Die Einrichtung ist sehr elegant, in einem hochwertigen nostalgischen Stil, dennoch in Küche und Bädern modern, ebenso wie die Heizung/Klimaanlage. Unser Gastgeber war herzlich und sehr hilfreich. Besonders angenehm war, dass er uns ein Taxi zurück zum Flughafen besorgen konnte.Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir würden wiederkommen.
