We have been staying here for 20 years. Pricey but location, breakfast and family run management is great. Plus compared to other Spanish Steps hotels this one is totally worth it. Via Margutta is Rome’s hidden gem.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Manfredi and would gladly stay there again. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the Spanish Steps, making it easy to explore Rome on foot. What really made the experience special was the staff—they were incredibly warm, welcoming, and always happy to help with recommendations and anything I needed. My room was spotless, comfortable, and a peaceful place to relax after a busy day of sightseeing. I also really enjoyed the breakfast, which had a great selection of fresh and delicious options each morning. Hotel Manfredi combines an excellent location with outstanding hospitality, and it made my visit to Rome even more memorable. Nice place to stay due to closeness to many places. Front desk is a bit unusual in terms of location. You enter the hotel and it looks as if you’ve entered an abandoned kiosk until to read the sign that sends you up to third floor to check -in because there is another hotel with this location. A bit strange and not so widely identifiable. Overall extremely nice dining room staff.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Close to the spanish steps and one stop away to the Trevi Fountain. Metro is five minutes walking. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby however the hotel is tucked away from all the noise. Our rooms were quiet and beds were comfortable we stayed in a double room. It has a lift which was important for us as we had big suitcases.
