Staff does not answer the phone. Hot water lasts for 5mins, maybe. The patio door was left open by staff. Shuttle service is a joke. Room looked like it needed serious maintenence. The air conditioner was broken and was not stated until asked. Walls are paper thin.

Airport shuttle was very punctual. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. Good AC. Comfortable bed. I picked the hotel because it said the rooms were soundproofed. But they are not. You can hear people talking in the hallway. Our room was small. The bathroom had mold in the shower tile grout. Overall - it sufficed for our overnight layover.

The staff was very sweet but the listing said there was a bar and restaurant and there were neither. There were many good restaurants nearby but we were surprised by the misinformation. It was one of the reasons we selected the hotel as after a long day of travel easy onsite access to food and a drink is helpful.

Hotel was very clean. Reception always available. Excellent choice of fine restaurants within walking distance. Best of all, only a few km from the Fiumicino airport

Location was the most important factor for us on this trip. The hotel was close to the airport and the beach. We could walk to the beach on our beach day. And when it came time to go to the airport, there was a shuttle at a reasonable price to transport us there.

Our room was not cleaned well on check in- coffee stains on the bedside table and bathroom walls were dirty. Could hear lots of noise from the hallway and the dishes being set up in the morning for breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They beyond to help us sort out transit into Rome and the airport.

We stayed one night after flying in from ATL, great location, shopping and dinning options, very walkable. We had a vehicle the onsite parking was a plus. Check in was pleasant, they offer airport shuttle to and from. I would stay again.

My mother in law and I stayed here for one night after traveling around Europe because we had a very early flight out of FCO and didn’t want to have to find a taxi from Rome so early in the morning. Hotel Academy was close to the airport and offered a shuttle service for 8 Euros a person. The room was clean-ish. It was fine for a night but nowhere I would stay for an extended time. What most concerned us was that there was no way to lock our room from the inside. All it had was a key pad for the room key; no deadbolt, no latch to prevent the door from opening. Would definitely not recommend for solo female travelers for this reason.

The room was clean and confortable. It was obvious that the bathroom was clean, but the fixtures needed an upgrade. The shower doors did not stay together resulting in a lot of water coming out. Also the shower pan was slipery and we ended up using a towel to stand on. The arrangement to get us to the airport worked very well. The neigherbor hood was nice with lots of dining options.

Really affordable considering how comfortable it is! There was an in room AC unit and a USB plug for my phone. Breakfast was nice and included fresh espresso. It’s a few blocks from a direct bus to Rome that only cost 7 Euro.

I stayed two nights at this hotel. The front desk receptionists were excellent. Check in experience was excellent. Shuttle transportation was good. Be aware that even though the fee is 10 euro for one way trip, but you have to pay 6 more euros for city tax. The first night was a nightmare for me. I purchased a one twin with one single bed room ‘facing the garden’. At about two am I was awakened by the noise of the neighbor room. I can clearly hear there coughing. That room doesn’t qualify as an hotel room. It had no water cups available for tooth brushing. No hangers for hanging clothes. The cleaning soup bottle was empty at the wash sink. The shower cube doesn’t have door to close to prevent water leaking out. It was my worst nightmare experience. The second day I booked another room and explained the situation the earlier night to Andrea(?) at the front desk. Andrea assigned me to a room inside the main building. The room was much better.

What an unexpected surprise, we booked this for the price. The staff was so helpful. Christian sat and chatted with us. They helped us book transport to our cruise. Told is where to go to get coffee and pastry in the morning that is super close and let us know where we could find a bank to get Euros. The bed wasn’t super comfortable but the AC worked like a dream. Wouid highly recommend.
