This place did exactly what we needed it to do. We mainly used it as a place to sleep after long days of exploring, and it worked well for that purpose. The apartment was quite clean, but keep in mind that it is a basement unit, so it can feel a bit dark. The ventilation also isn’t the best, so if you’re visiting during the warmer months, be prepared for some heat and humidity, although there is a fan provided. Muna and her daughter were incredibly responsive, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. They made the check-in process very easy and were always quick to answer any questions. The location was another highlight. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the Colosseum, which was fantastic, and there’s a train station only about 7 minutes away. While it’s not right in the heart of the city, it’s easy to get anywhere you’d want to go with a train ride of around 20 minutes. Overall, I would recommend this place, especially if you’re looking for a clean, affordable base for exploring Rome.
