Stayed on floor 1 for four nights, the pillows weren’t the best. The aircon and heating kept breaking and the staff said they’d ‘reset the system’ and there was a continuous smell of burning / cigarette smoke from outside which was annoying. The iPad didn’t always work either. Other than that it was an okay stay. Don’t even bother with the breakfast. We tried it one morning and it was awful. Paying 18 euros per person for awful no scrambled eggs, awful potato fritters and some odd bacon is really not worth it and felt like a kick in the teeth when I was checking out. The venue also doesn’t have free coffee which is disappointing. There was also an unnerving security guard that lingered around downstairs on his phone staring at you… very odd. Stayed at citizenM in Amsterdam which is why I chose here…

The hotel is very modern and tech-friendly, with super easy check-in and check-out. It’s located near the Trastevere area and surrounded by lots of great restaurants. My room had a beautiful view of the River Tibet 😄

Over all I’m glad I chose this hotel. Perfect location, close to most of the places to see but not as busy or noisy as the ones near the touristy areas. The hotel was just across from Trastevere and 1 block away from the back of the hotel to more restaurants and small shops. But not a lot of noise at night. I also felt safe walking around at night. All the staff members are all very helpful and friendly. The hotel is clean - from the lobby, bar area, elevator and of course my room and bathroom! I did not have breakfast at the hotel. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! 👌

The CitizenM in Rome was fantastic. The check in was quick and straightforward (there were self service kiosks, with someone always there to help out if needed) and the property is clean and modern. The guestroom view upgrade was very much worth it, with a view of fall colors and the Tiber river. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious and after the fun chaos of Rome it was a chill place to relax and recharge for another day. I usually did an early breakfast so it was never busy and the food and coffee were decent. The area is very walkable with a good amount of restaurants and things to do very close by. (Pantheon is about a 15 min walk, Forum Romanum around 25, and St Peters is a little over 35 min but a pleasant walk along the river) I'd definitely recommend this place to friends.

Check in and check out needs humans!!!!!!!!!! One poor overworked woman is not enough. Fire alarm at 9am, but nobody in lobby bothered to tell us it was a false alarm. We had to ask. Otherwise the hotel was comfortable and everything else was nice.
