This is our second year staying at Gigi's place. It's such a great location and value. It offers everything we like during the off season without the crowds and is such a clean and comfortable place to stay.

Clean, downtown, harbor view. Great host.Only drawback was we got a ticket for parking overnight on the warf. There was no sign on the guest side of the warf stating that overnight wasnt allowed. 50 fine. Otherwise great spot!

The location of the property was great. Unfortunately the weather was cool and misting but that's Rockport in May. Consequently we spent more time inside than we planned. The living room furniture was not comfortable. All kitchen stuff was good and the bed was comfortable as well as quiet. Street parking was fine but this was off season.

Property Clean and cozy. The kitchen is equipped with all flatware, dishes and cookware needed for the duration of your stay. All linens are provided. The apartment is across the marina, exactly as pictured. Our host, Gigi, was extremely helpful with suggestions and responds to all email requests quickly. The people of the area are very friendly. There are small shops, restaurants and various outdoor activities (kayaking, bike riding, lobster and whale watching outings). My husband and I highly recommend Rockport for a nice, easy going vacation. It is also a good midpoint location to visit Salem, Gloucester and other beach towns. We look forward to coming again.

This was an amazing and comfortable space. You couldn't ask for a better location, right on the harbor in the heart of Rockport. Gloucester is just down the road and that is a lively place. I highly recommend this space..

We enjoyed our stay in a perfectly cozy (but not too small) apartment in the heart of Rockport’s cultural/arts district. This unit had to be the most immaculately kept VRBOs we’ve ever stayed in. It was clean and unlike a lot of the mishmash decor and supplies at some of our stays, Harbor Retreat is simply but tastefully decorated, with organized kitchen utensils and dish ware. Only drawback are the steep entry stairs but we managed.

This place was rhe perfect location; smack dab in the middle of everything. Our host, Gigi was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. The only thing i would point out is to those who are elderly or have a hard time climbing stairs may struggle a bit, but if you dont, the view is beautiful. I would definitely stay there again. Ps; the Red Skiff (downstairs) is a fantastic restaurant. I recommend that place as well.

Nice little apartment

We were looking for a place with a central location so we could walk everywhere! We found it! Gigi was very helpful. We had a nice little kitchen so I could cook if I wanted to. We came to relax, and we did just that!

The apartment was very clean however, we did have to walk up a back all of a restaurant with the dumpster and a very steep stairwell to get to the apartment. There was a lot of noise from the restaurant at night but other than that it was very close to everything. They were very easy to get a hold of with any questions.

December in Rockport

We came to Rockport the first week in December for the Christmas tree lighting. The apartment was very nice. Charming, clean and well-appointed. The location was perfect by the harbor. Gigi was a blessing checking in each day to make sure everything was going beautifully. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Rockport!
