My husband and I stayed in the one bedroom chalet with bathroom and loved it! The chalet was very spacious and clean. It had a lot of privacy as it was tucked away in the trees. Felt rustic and very comfortable. Great location with close proximity to North Cascades National Park. The woman at the front office was very friendly. Would definitely recommend.
We were happy with our stay at Clark Cabins. It was dated & not fancy, but clean and had everything we needed to feel comfortable and relaxed. It was the perfect place to come back to after exploring North Cascades National Park.
We arrived a bit early because we had grocery items and it was over 90 degrees, so we were hoping to pu done things in the fridge and then keep going to the park. We we told it was 15 dollars to check in early but we could use it. We went to the cabin and it was filthy and smelled horrible. We reported this to the office and busy said we'll come back when it's clean. After returning from the park at around 8 the garbage had been removed but the smell was still atrocious. Someone had left the window open and it was full of bugs, the ceiling fan didn't work, and it didn't have any air conditioning which it said it had when we booked. We ended up leaving and finding a different place about 40 minutes away. Horrible experience and feel like they mislead what their properties actually are.
Awesome location, was able to check in late great experience

Lack of hospitality
The resort is near the North Cascades National Park entrance and the area is fairly remote with few lodging options. We were happy with the location and cabin. However, when we arrived hot and tired at dinnertime with groceries the instructions to get into our cabin were left atop a wine barrel. Unfortunately, the key pad to enter the cabin did not work. We checked with the neighbors to be sure we were doing it correctly. Then we called and texted the resort for help. After a frustrating half hour waiting for a response, we went to the campground bathroom and found the toilet clogged. Nobody contacted us. I called the few places nearby for a room. No luck. I called the resort and said we were giving up and would go back down the river to find a room for the night. We were several miles down the road when I got a text saying the key was on the barrel. So we drive back to the resort and found the key on the barrel. It did work. However, we were not happy with the lack of communication and the terseness of the responses. It was very poor customer service. There was no "we're sorry that the key pad didn't work" or a follow-up to make sure that we were successfully in. They evidently are not in the hospitality business.
Just what it said on the tin. There isn't a bar or restaurant as it says on the website but there are 2 restaurants in Marblemount, 2 miles away, if you're not into self catering. There are 2 petrol stations there too which have minimarts attached. The resort itself is also a campsite and many of the pitches are down by the Skagit river where there's a small beach where it was safe to swim off. Other than the inn at Marblemount, this is as close as you can get to the national park about 15 miles further east.
Cabin was comfortable, bed comfortable, no complaints.

We were given a map to the incorrect cabin and we walked in on another family. The staff apologized, as it was an honest mistake but it was very awkward. Everything was clean except the fold out bed. Crumbs went flying when we opened it and we had to wash the bedding before use. It is very convenient to the national park.
Nice campground with cabins just a few miles from the entrance to the North Cascades. Nothing super fancy, but two bedrooms, a living room, and full kitchen were perfect for our needs. The deck was nice for enjoying summer nights as well.
