Hotel needs maintenance and a good cleaning. The tile floor was unbelievably sticky. The room smelled awful. Breakfast was a typical cheap hotel breakfast. Location was not bad.

Room smells awful. I can hear the television in the lobby in my room and front desk said they would turn it off when the woman watching it goes to bed but didn't know when that would be. Don't stay here.

The staff wasn't all that welcoming. The AC was not on when entering the room, sink would clog and took awhile to drain, only 1 coffee bag for the in-room maker & this is a 3 cup gal. Clerk at front desk carried a battery operated bug zapper racket. I left keys in the room and asked the front desk for an extra. Without hesitation, the clerk created a new card only asking for my length of stay. She failed to ask for identification which is a huge security concern. Parking was free which was a plus and the hotel was conveniently located.
front desk was well staffed, but staff seemed not helpful. Fellow guest inquired about tax service and clerk really had no idea.
Breakfast was free, selection plentiful with ample seating.

Please, Please, Please STOP using FABULOSO floor cleaner. It is Toxic and the smell gives headaches and sore throats to people who are sensitive. I would think a hotel with guests using the N. Mayo Clinic would be more sensitive than most to especially strong, lingering odors. The first rooms (303 & 305--my parents in one and my sister and me in another) smelled so terribly of cig smoke we asked for other rooms. The Front Desk person was so very kind and accommodating, gave us two new rooms on the 2nd floor, which were much better, altho one did have the Fabuloso lingering smell, so we could not keep the door open between the two rooms. The entrance/lobby floors & elevator were in need of deep cleaning and repairs, as were the chairs in the dining area. Room was perfectly clean and as pictured. I would give this place a 2.5-3 rating.

I booked a room with two queen beds on hotels.com. When I got there was told there were no rooms available with two queen beds and we would get a room with one queen bed. Also, the TV did not work. They put new batteries in the remote and the TV still did not work so we got a room with one queen bed and no TV.😡
