Traditional continental breakfast, no hot options, which is fine, not complaining. Getting to the property was our only real issue. Hallway lights kept it lighter in our room overnight than we’re used to as well. Staff was friendly and helpful for dinner suggestions.

Clean. Fairly comfortable bed. I had a problem with the faucet in the shower, but it was resolved quickly. I really hate that they only had styrofoam cups, bowls and plates available for breakfast.

Walkable to Mayo Clinic

This hotel was a great choice for me since I was able to walk to the Mayo Clinic. The construction by the clinic makes it almost impossible to park. I lost my car fob and the front desk clerk found it for me and called to tell me. He went above and beyond.

Disappointing/Pictures Not Accurate

When I booked our room I didn’t realize there was an Aspen Select and an Aspen Suites and both are shown in the hotel main picture on this site. The hotel was not clean, the furniture and overall hotel is worn and starting to run down. The continental Breakfast was a few donuts some bread and some muffins, no hot food at all. When we arrived there was no one at the front desk for over 15 minutes for check in, the parking lot is pretty small and a tight fit. Front desk staff was not attentive or unfriendly. The chain lock in the room was broken off. The location was good as we walked across the street to St, Mary’s- Mayo Clinic and that was the only thing good about this hotel. I will shuttle to a different location than ever choose to stay here again.

Amazing warm and friendly stay

Our family was at Rochester for two weeks for my kiddos heart surgery. As you can imagine, it was a stressful time. The staff at Aspen select and Aspen suites were incredibly helpful and friendly. Their smiles and warm personalities made us stay wonderful. I will definitely be staying there again on our follow up visits. They made it at home away from home. The rooms were always clean, tidy, and comfortable. The convenience of being right across from the hospital was so helpful! And it had plenty of restaurants within five minutes of walking. We so appreciate you all.
