We stayed at Américas Gaivota Hotel for one night and it was a horrible experience. We arrived around 10:00 pm and the room was dirty and old, with stained sheets and mold in the bathroom. Within minutes, my husband was bitten multiple times by mosquitoes, we killed several but they just kept coming. I was also bitten on my leg before even falling asleep. After less than an hour of trying, we had to leave because it was impossible to rest. The hallway and even the lobby were full of mosquitoes, and the staff member at the desk was swatting them away while talking to us. Very disappointing stay and definitely not recommended.

O hotel é bem localizado, ficando próximo a Olégario Maciel, porém , a cama é dura que é uma tábua , o ar condicionado sem controle , eu não conseguia nem alcançar para poder controlar a temperatura. O chuveiro pingava horrores , os registros não fecham direito e o ralo do banheiro entupido. A equipe do café da manhã aos berros conversando entre si sobre vida pessoal enquanto a gente toma café. O café em si não é ruim.. bastante variedades de frutas e pães .. O custo é baixo né , se for pra uma noite apenas por ser uma viagem de negócios recomendo pela localização, porém pra ir de férias não ! Tem muitas opções boas ao redor que com certeza fariam a viagem ter um grande diferencial .

Os funcionários foram muito solícitos e atenciosos durante toda a estadia. O quarto estava em bom estado e bem conservado. No entanto, alguns pontos poderiam ser melhorados: o chuveiro demorava cerca de 15 minutos para esquentar, a TV ligava sozinha em alguns momentos e houve barulhos durante a noite, semelhantes ao som de uma furadeira, que acabaram interrompendo meu sono algumas vezes. O café da manhã é razoável, com opções suficientes para uma refeição simples. No geral, a experiência foi boa, mas esses detalhes impactaram o conforto da hospedagem.
