Room was aged and in need of an upgrade. Had a room with a view of the river only to find out when getting in to the room that a lift being used for the on-site construction was parked in front of the window. Also due to the construction and a large on site book show the parking area was greatly reduced (to park and allow schools buses bringing children to the book show to park and /or turn around) leaving the only option to park in a time restricted or no parking area. The entire lobby and hallways to the conference area were crammed full of booths for the book show.

We had a wonderful room with a view of the St Lawrence, fantastic! It was very comfortable and we got a good night's sleep. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have a second washer/dryer set for guests to use, it was sort crowded and I had to wait. Good restaurant, too!

I was not informed that my King Suite with a view would have loud hotel construction right outside my window starting at 8 a.m. I would never have paid extra for a “view” just to see and hear construction. On top of that, the two young women at the front desk when I checked in were rude and unhelpful—they offered no directions, no courtesy, and were dismissive when I tried to ask questions. The noise from the hotel’s new wing construction was unbearable, and I ultimately decided to leave early because of it.
