The room itself was clean even though it was outdated, until we turned the ac on. There was mold inside the air conditioner that ended up making us sick. We ended up going to a different hotel the second night.

The room was spacious. House keeping came in every day and left clean linen and emptied the trash. The manager was very kind. The stay was peaceful and quite a lovely location in El Cerrito. Thank you Terrace Inn. Also San Pablo Ave has so many restaurants and Walgreens as well.

The room smelled overwhelmingly like cigarette smoke even though it was supposed to be a "smoke-free" room. The smell stayed in my clothes and went into my car from my clothes lasting days afterward. The front desk person was helpful with getting me extra blankets since the room was very cold.
