The pronlem was with the room. I reserved a single King bed with a roll-in shower. I get 2 queens and they don't even have any roll-in showers. There are laws against bait and switch.

The room was in deplorable condition. There were gauges in the floor in both the room and in the bathroom. The psint in the bathroom was alalso gauged. I told the front desk clerk about this and she came to the room. She did offer another room but we were tired. If we were staying more than 1 night we would have taken her up on the offer.

The room had an overwhelming stench of cat pee. I asked the receptionist for a different room and she said there wasn’t one. We could not stay there because my husband is allergic to cats. She offered a refund. She gave me a receipt and said Expedia would refund my account. We had to find another room late that night. Susan Mercer

Needed a place to stay for two nights while passing through Virginia and found this for a good price. it’s tolerable. room smelled musty like old tv dinner, found a roach running on the bed within 10 minutes of arrival, along with some wings on the pillow case and a carcass along the microwave wall. everything was overall dingy and dirty, wall had stains and chair was crusty. 2 out of 4 lamps did not work. and the bathtub didn’t stay open so water continued accumulating unless you wedged something on the drain stopper. if you can get past all of that and really need a warm place to stay at night, the bed was decent.

My stay at this Red Roof Inn was unacceptable. Nothing inside the room was working properly, and to make matters worse, there was no warm water available, which made even basic needs uncomfortable. The overall condition of the room was poor and not maintained. Even more concerning, other guests were openly smoking marijuana inside the building, creating an unsafe and unpleasant environment. This property failed to provide the most basic standards of comfort, safety, and cleanliness. Until serious improvements are made in maintenance, amenities, and enforcement of hotel policies, I cannot recommend staying here.
