Odd smell in the lobby. Rooms have obviously been smoked in, sheets and towels were dingy and stained. Not a very good place to stay. Not a dump, but they don’t have very far to get to dump status. Nowhere near what I paid for it at around $140 a night. Won’t be back,

I would not recommend this particular quality inn. The hotel room door was missing a lock, bed linens were stained, broken furniture, and the tub was not clean. While the staff was very kind, they refuse to do anything about the issues or to issue a refund.

The “breakfast” was very lackluster. Waffles, serial and yogurt. I went to McDonald’s instead. The indoor pool was freezing cold and the bottom was dirty with dirt, dead bugs, bandages. The fridge in the room made noises.

This place is in poor condition. It is dated and antiquated along with a sewage type odor in the lobby. The place is run down and in such terrible condition I canceled my booking for the second night although I would be charged for the cancellation. In other words I would gladly pay to not stay there.

Location is great, within walking distance of the Old National Road Welcome Center where you can get your Chocolate Trail passport which is a fantastic experience. This property is in bad need of a overall remodel. The breakfast is not stocked very well. It is a shame attention has not been given to this property because it's location to dining, shopping and points of interest is great.

Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. The hotel was not very clean, and it seemed like the property has been neglected for quite some time. Several things in the room were worn out or falling apart, which made it feel run down. The pool was also noticeably low on water and didn't appear to be well maintained. Overall, the hotel just felt dirty and in need of significant upkeep. I hope the management invests in cleaning and maintenance because it has the potential to be a much nicer place.
