Good to know: This is a vertical, multi-level A-frame with stairs, including a spiral staircase. Both queen bedrooms are upstairs, and the only bathroom is on the main/downstairs level. The cabin has wooded views and a mountain-cabin feel, but it sits near US-26/highway access rather than in full seclusion, so traffic can be noticeable outside and sometimes lightly upstairs.

The Neighborhood:
Located in Rhododendron's Woodlands area near US-26, this A-frame has towering trees, easy access to Skyway Bar & Grill, the Zigzag River area, and Mt. Hood recreation. The setting feels wooded and cabin-like, but it is close to highway access and nearby homes rather than a remote/secluded forest property.
Getting Around:
🚗 Driving — A car is recommended for getting around. The area is connected via US-26, and gravel driveway parking fits 2-3 small cars.
🚶 Nearby — Skyway Bar & Grill is nearby for food and music. This is a mountain-area neighborhood, not a walkable urban setting.
🏔️ Recreation — Minutes from Mt. Hood ski resorts, hiking trails, biking, and the Sandy/Zigzag River area.
✈️ Airport — PDX is approximately 60-75 minutes by car via US-26 West.

This is a multi-level A-frame. Both queen bedrooms are upstairs, reached by stairs/spiral staircase, and the only full bathroom is on the main/downstairs level. There are 2 total beds and no additional sleeping loft.
🌲 Outdoor Setting
The cabin has wooded views and a private-to-you hot tub/backyard setup, but it is near US-26/highway access rather than fully secluded. Traffic can be noticeable outside and sometimes lightly upstairs.
🐾 Pet-Friendly Space
We welcome pets! Our cleaning team deep cleans between every stay, though we can't guarantee 100% dander-free for allergy-sensitive guests.

🔥 Propane Stove / Heat Note
The propane stove is out of order. Please use the wall heaters and wood fireplace for heat. The downstairs living area can run cooler than upstairs; Duraflame logs are kept on site for the wood fireplace. Space heaters and extra blankets may be available on request if the downstairs area feels too cool.
Interaction with Guests:
We're available by message anytime and typically respond within minutes. We're local to Portland and happy to help with anything - from restaurant recommendations to a quick answer at midnight when you can't find something. We keep a hands-off approach unless you need us, and when you do, we're right there.
