Bad

A smell cheap perfume trying to cover up bad smell of the room greeted us at the entrance. But this was just the beginning. The room was filthy with sticky stains all over the floor, dust on furniture, the curtains ripped off the hooks, fake leather couch shedding all over…. Besides it, I booked a room was too bad, and there was just one bed, to be fair, it consisted of two beds, and we could have them separated, but there was only one sheet covering both of them together. I did not only book two-bed room, I specifically requested two beds in messages. The communication was poor. There was one thin worn out pillow for each person on a bad. Hence, we didn’t have much comfort sleeping. The sound isolation in the building is horrible hearing I was waking up by neighbors early in the morning, is there was a big and loud company next-door being very noisy. The bathroom was ridiculous. It had Jacuzzi with a showerhead and no curtain. Bathroom didn’t have a floor mat. And we were only given one towel each. The whole room is not cozy and has a very cold feeling, besides being worn down.

Got a room that I was not happy with, support quickly helped me and within a couple hours I was in a new much nicer room. The management on site was very nice and helpful. In the heart of downtown and all the night life. If you are going to see Reykjavik, this is a great spot to be.

Locations is fantastic. And the VALUE for such a great location with a full kitchen if you were staying for multiple days is great. Bookstore bar just downstairs was one of the best bars I’ve ever been to with great live music EVERY night 8-11. The bad - it can be loud and the windows are not the best. Also the hot water has a strong sulfur smell. And I know it’s because of the geothermal activity but every other hotel must use something to clean up the smell because this was the only place.

Perfect location, clean and comfortable (Could use some new pillows). Noise level outside was very loud throughout the night on Friday, much quieter on Saturday but they do have earplugs for you which helps. Overall, great stay!

The location was excellent, and the Mani Apartment team was very responsive, helpful and sorted out questions fast and friendly. The apartment was clean, great view, great setup. While we were not used to the main street noise and night life, it gave us a great flavor of Reykjavik's bustling day and night activities.

Great location. Expensive parking around here (not Máni apartments fault) but letting you know about the area - park further if you have a car. Loud but gets better after 11:30 pm (because it’s a very lively location). External bathroom is a hassle.

Fantastic over all experience. My third time in Reykjavik, but my first time staying right downtown. Absolute perfect location, the nightlife, food choices, and proximity to everything is unmatched. Highly recommend!

There was really loud music playing and shaking the apartment from 8:30 PM to 11:30PM every night. There were really loud drunk people afterwards till about 12:30 AM. There was mold in the bathrooms. There was dirt and used bandaids in the couch cushions. There was no mention of the loud music anywhere in the listing. We would like our money back for this stay. This was a horrible experience.

L’appartement est situé au cœur du centre-ville. Tout est proche. Par contre, pour une famille avec deux enfants , c’est très bruyant la nuit. Il y a un bar en bas et les clients sont très bruyants jusqu’à 3h du matin. C’était très difficile pour nous de dormir. La communication avec le personnel est excellente. Ils devraient faire quelques travaux notamment refaire les fenêtres, pour améliorer l’isolation. Aussi, mettre un ventilateur à la salle de bain et une hôte au dessus de la cuisinière.

Très bien situé, en plein coeur du centre de Reykjavik avec accès pratique à une petite épicerie, cafés et restaurants. Parfait si vous n’avez pas de voiture. Excellente communication avec l’administration. Le côté négatif de l’emplacement est le bruit des bars avoisinant qui dure jusqu'à très tard dans la nuit.

Great location close to rainbow street and other downtown points of interest. Clean, modern, nice appliances, comfortable beds. Good for a short stay with family. A little bit of noise from bars and downtown area at night, but wasn’t much problem for us on the 3rd floor.
