Spilt our stay between here and another “five star” hotel. Thought this hotel was just as nice and half the cost! The room was very nice, comfortable and a great location! Felt it was a little on the small size but not an issue. Everything was very clean and like most everyone in Iceland, super friendly staff! Would definitely recommend and would stay again! Loved our stay!

Konsulat is a beautiful hotel with really nice rooms. On the downside- The fitness room is way too hot to use and the breakfast needs a serious upgrade for the hotel standard.
