I stayed at this hotel twice during my two weeks in Reykjavik at the end of May and in early June. I had stayed at a different (a little higher end) Center Hotel last year and really like them so stayed again this year, trying another of their brand. Everything was fine, friendly and helpful staff, okay breakfast, very convenient for walking around Reykjavik. Only a block from the gelato shop and bars and restaurants, easy walk to Bus stop#6 to catch the day tours and the Flybus. I was very happy with my stay.

The chap on reception went out of his way to be helpful to us which we really appreciated. The room was very clean and comfortable. A little noise from the street but not too bad and it stopped at a reasonable time.
