Hotel is in an excellent location, right in the heart of Reykjavik with great transport links and easily accessible. Staff on the front desk were warm and welcoming and catered to our needs. The room was clean and spacious, and we were on the 8th floor which had an amazing view over the city. Overall, we would definitely stay here again and would recommend to any family or friends that are visiting Reykjavik.

The hotel is very clean, friendly staff, and the breakfast was great especially to have before early morning tours. The location is excellent. It's 2-3 blocks from bus stop 1 where most tours will pick up and drop off. Right across the street is access to streets filled with shops and restaurants. It felt like everything was within walking distance.

Always an amazing stay here, I been coming to this hotel twice a year for the past three years . Centrally located to town and BSI, staff is always friendly and welcoming, rooms are always clean .

I love the location of this hotel. It is very central, thus it is within walking distance to stores, restaurants, landmarks and the harbour where we catched the boat for a notrthern lights tour. It might be noisy if you have one of the front rooms, but we were so tired from the day activities that it didn't bother us. If you are looking for a night life, there are bars and restaurants accross the street. During winter, they have a skating ring for kids in the plaza in front of it. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable for the three of us. We didn't get the chance to try the hotel's restaurant. However we tried the famous icelandic hot dog, which is a two minutes walk from the hotel, and Sæta Svínið Gastropub across the street. Both were very good.

The staff were rude once we did not decide to pay for early check in. They put us in a room in the furthest corner of the hotel that was not accessible especially with heavy luggage. The room had a big smell upon entering and many of the bathroom amenities were broken. The windows and walls are also thin so it was loud being around the city center.
