The hotel was under renovation. Or felt like it was. Positives. The bathroom had new fixtures, flooring was new, the bed was probsbly new. Negatives, the continental breakfast was laughable. No other food available. The floors did not have propwr substrate and created noise constantly, musty smell in some areas from old doors and walls. Corners cut in the renos with reused moulding, or outlets that didn't work. Did not feel comfortable going out at night in the area. Bizarre culture clash with the decor. Rustic cabin, east asian, and Tuscan villa all blended together. Felt like new management has taken over and is unsure what they want to do with it.

Don't go here for breakfast or a quiet sleep

Stayed here as highway was closed and had a king bed and breakfast. No parking as they were busy and front desk check-in was fast. Bed was really firm and they have the cheapest sandpaper towels and TP. Floors are all noisy and squeaky all around you. No real issues based on price I guess?? Bigger issues were that there is some sort of bar nearby as there were people yelling and swearing out my window until 2 AM. My morning shower was cold as lever was stripped and didn't work proper. I waited until 7:30 which seems late for business use for breakfast and it turned out to be cereal, toast and coffee. I left and won't come back. I don't write negative reviews often but feel like it was warranted this time.

We would definitely stay again at this hotel. Friendly staff. Cleanliness of the room was most appreciated! Our room was quiet..and the king-size bed and linens were topnotch! Our one aside in regards to the Breakfast: please look into individual containers, sealed, when serving yogurt. We are recommending The Grizz to others!

The room was clean, nice sheets, good air conditioner and great bathroom. Best shower of all the hotels we’ve stayed in. One area of improvement would be the breakfast - more protein, fresh fruit and gluten-free options would be appreciated. We would definitely stay there again.

Great Budget Stay in Revelstoke

Nice hotel to stay at on a budget, the beds were comfy but very squeaky so I kept waking up when moving. Pillows are very comfortable, decent size room, breakfast was basic but tasty.

Loved this older hotel. BUT if you can’t pack luggage up the stairs I would suggest to request a room on main level. No elevator. Walls are thin. Could hear next doors child yelling and screaming and them talking. Breakfast was basic. Just toast, cereal, boiled eggs, yogurt. Bed was comfy. Updated bathroom. Reception very good. Right close to lots of eating options downtown. Would stay here again!!
