An exceptional experience with a very peaceful environment and some lovely hosts. The entire property was well maintained and cleaned. Breakfast had a lot of options for everyone. Will definitely book with them again.

The gravel outside of the cabin was large and uncomfortable to walk on for both human and dogs. We rented a cabin and found out once we got there that there was a curtain as the door to the bathroom, cabin was tiny and terribly lit, no chairs, picnic table OR fireplace of your own. We were expected to walk over the the more expensive cabins and try to share their 2 firepits. It stated kitchenette in cabins but once booked you find out you get a keurig under the TV. Staff were nice and rooms were clean.

First of all, this property is not near or convenient to Banff area. It seems like it is 33 miles but it is 3.5 hours. Staff not friendly or honest. Breakfast is not included. Dinner is overpriced and 2 star. They advertise 5 star dining and free breakfast. This is not accurate. 25 miles of gravel road in the middle of nowhere. Thank goodness we had food our own chairs and a table. The site had bottle caps, cigarette butter. Long walk to shared washroom on rough rocks.

This place is a quiet oasis from the rush of every day life. It is a hour west of Sundre and quite a drive from Edmonton but worth it. The Panther River is just outside the cabins (we stayed in Cedar) and the location is spectacular. A good cold breakfast is included with yogurt, fruit and home made baked goodies. We will be back.
