The resort was super nice. I proposed to my fiancé there. Only thing I wasn’t a fan of was I was told they would switch my room to a better room with a view when we got to this room it was smaller and the view was okay. They did resolve the issue though when I called letting them know I wasn’t comfortable in the room once they switch the room I actually paid for was perfect and way better view even though it was on a lower floor. Still would recommend other then that just learn from me and don’t listen to them when they say we have a better room.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Wave Resort. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a stunning view of the ocean — the lookout to the water was definitely a highlight. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and overall, the atmosphere felt relaxing and upscale. That said, I did notice that the rates are a bit higher compared to similar hotels in the area. While the experience was excellent, the pricing might make it less accessible for frequent stays. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend Wave Resort for anyone looking for a special getaway by the ocean.

I had looked forward to staying at The Wave since it opened a few years back. I often come to this area and usually stay at a nearby hotel. I chose The Wave for my anniversary stay to see what it was like. The hotel is beautiful. The staff was lovely and the room was very comfortable. Upon checkin when I mentioned my anniversary we were immediately upgraded. This hotel is the most expensive in the area with the most expensive resort fee. In October, there is not much to offer that this fee covers. We were told that the outdoor pool was open but when we went there the chairs were not set up, cushions were not on furniture snd the umbrellas were scattered. Parking is valet only for an additional $55. The parking area is a dirt and gravel lot next to the hotel. At this price point you must do better. This hotel has been there long enough for it to be paved. Overall I was happy that I went but in the future I will stay at the 2 neighboring hotels which are also beautiful, are less expensive and have a lower resort fee.
