The room was neglected, and the staff support was lacking! NO coffee available in the Inn. When I entered the room, there was a plastic bag over the smoke detector, a scented dryer sheet in the heater/AC vent, and the remnant of a marijuana cigarette (roach) on the floor. sheets were stained and torn. Towels were stained. The premises are dated and run-down.

Had to wait over 10 minutes for staff to come to desk to check us in. Room left a lot to be desired. Rugs, dirty. Bed comfortable but spread stained. Tub could use a good bleaching. Limited linens, 2 towels, 1 face cloth. Staff had to come to room, last occupant took cord to tv and batteries to remote. We stayed here several years ago, it was nice. Really gone down hill.

Lamp missing light bulb, another lamp had no switch, linens very thin and worn as well as washcloths. Breakfast had many items not replenished, coffee cups, scrambled eggs, biscuits, jelly, milk was warming in refridgerator because it wasn't cold enough, dirty dining tables. Seemed like hotel is on it's last dollar. Staff was friendly but didn't pay attention to the appearance and needs of the guests.

We checked into our room and took one look. We brought our bags back out to our car and requested a refund. The place is smelly, musty, dirty, has dead flies everywhere, dirty floors, smoke detectors hanging from the ceiling, outlets with wires hanging out, spots on walls unpainted, over all very dirty and run down. The pictures on Expedia were not accurate at all (building looks trashy, there’s no big beautiful pool outside), sketchy part of town, homeless people in the parking lot, outside lights flickering, dogs inside barking. This place should not even be an option to purchase! My kids were actually SCARED to stay here. I’m waiting on my refund yet from Expedia.

When rating hotels you have to take price into consideration. This is an old facility, and nothing is fancy, but the beds are very good, the sheets are clean, the a/c/heater works great and the water is hot. I often stay at better hotels, but they cost 2x - 3x as much. This one is a GREAT deal. Which there was one like it everywhere I go.
