The breakfast was first right and we had Rushmore on her mind so the big pictures over the bed set the mood just right and the price was beyond compare on anything we saw from Washington to Minnesota and back. The front desk was especially friendly as in maybe they were the owners.

The hotel was under construction. Our room was not done being cleaned when we arrived to it after checking in. Once they finished cleaning we realized there was no shower curtain. The housekeeping staff was helpful. It was difficult to find someone on the front desk. Hopefully it will improve when the construction is complete.

The hotel smelled terrible. In our room, the bedding had stains on both beds, the bathroom was not clean and only had one towel, and the shower curtain looked moldy. We left the hotel and got a room elsewhere. They were remodeling and everything was filthy on the way to the room. They should close down until they can have an acceptable room to stay in.

Blood soaked mattresses, blood spatter on the ued skirting. Pee on the bed cover. Beds where never cleaned, and it looked like a murder scene there. Straight out of a horror story!!!

This property was terrible in every way. We were not informed that they were in the process of repairs. Boxes were piled to the ceiling in the reception area, place wreaked of marijuana, no carpet in the upstairs hallway & the keys didn’t work. Consequently we did not feel safe so elected not to stay here.
