This was an amazing trip. Homewood suites was great I love this place stayed here a few times in the past. Staff was nice, overall hotel was clean and good location. Room was ok. Beds are doubles not queens, handle on bathroom was loose , very thin walls. I would probably pick a different hotel when in the area again just because of the size of the beds.

We loved our stay at the Homewood Suites in Durham. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful - they even accommodated my request to check in early. The room and entire hotel were very clean and well maintained. The location was easy to access and close to both UNC and Duke as well as grocery stores and restaurants. We'll be staying again when we return to Raleigh!

I'll start with the negatives. The hotel needs a bit of a refresh. The carpeting in the first floor hall is getting a little threadbare. I killed a couple of insects in our bathroom in the middle of the night. On the positive side, the hotel fitness center was reasonably well maintained. Breakfast was exactly what you would expect at a moderately priced Hilton property. The location is very convenient to 15-501 and I-40.
