I was charged a $100 deposit 2 times due to a failed system. The room was very cold and could not keep up with the temperatures outside. I found out the I would have to pay almost twelve dollars for a very unappealing breakfast to say the least.My stay was not enjoyable

First impressions are everything and front desk girl was horrible ! Dint even say hello her first words were Id please . Had to tell her hello and told her I had a 2 night stay reservation. Booked a 2 nights stay ! Rooms need upgrades! Also first room given window dint lock asked to be moved to another room .dint even apologize to anything and told me go grab things out if the first room . For the price is not worth it . Wish I had stayed somewhere else . Was visiting family for a weekend .

Unhelpful staff. Bed sheet smelled terrible. Our room doesn't have a hair dryer. I dialed the front desk and it said "mailbox full" and nobody picked up. I went down to the receptionist to ask her "if our room doesn't have the hair dryer or is it missing one?" She casually responded: "what is your room?" Provided my room # "It is missing one then" She said: "I don't have one to give you now. If there is the security person, he'll find one in another room then knock on your door to give you one. The house keeping has it but they are not here." What a Joke!!! We'll never come back here again.

My experiences at the Millennium was not a good one. This hotel is on the list for patients and care givers of Duke Hospital. Considering we are at Duke means we are dealing with a hard live situation. I was locked out of my room due to an old door that stuck when attempting to close. I closed my door to leave and when I return the inside latch was closed on its own. It was late and there was no maintenance person available to assist. The security gentleman was a peach, as he attempted to assist the front desk agent to no avail. They both could not reach anyone on the phone to assist. Why is there not an emergency number for the employees is unthinkable. The front desk agent was graciously enough to offer a new room for the night. That was nice and all, but I did not have clothes, toiletries or my meds. I then asked the agent if I would receive an adjustment for the night. She attempted to reach her manager, who did not answer the phone. The next morning she advise me that the manager refused the refund. Why am I paying for a room that I was not able to access is beyond imaginable. I will be reporting this to the BBB, as the reason for my visit did not allow me to pivot to another hotel. I’m dealing with a family fighting for their life. This was a horrible experience. Please look forward to the BBB complaint as I think a financial reimbursement was not an unreasonable ask.

Holes and cracks in wall/ceiling, could clearly tell the toilet wasn’t cleaned because there was a pee stain on the back, and they said they offer a shuttle within 3 miles but when asked, said they only offer that for hospital guests. The main reason I booked this place was to take the shuttle to and from the Duke campus, ended up having to pay for parking instead…
