Will avoid the Hilton name.

Upon entering the premises there were individuals hanging out in the lobby area that you couldn’t read if they were guest or just loitering because their behavior was questionable and the employee doing check in was on & off associating on a personal level with them. These same individuals were riding the elevator, exiting & then entering the stairs, again with questionable behavior. Made us felt unsafe. The employee doing check in didn’t greet us. Overall the initial first impression told us we weren’t going to enjoy this stay. Room was dirty, toilet seat had urine left from previous guests, not vacuumed, hair on counter, used open soap on bathroom counter, surfaces not wiped down. Just gross. The hallways, tables in walkways, elevators, etc. were all dirty with trash in floor. The guests we encountered were undesirable sloppy dressed & poor behavior. Low grade hotel with low class guests. Only reason they get guests like ourselves I’m sure is those of us that don’t know the area enough to have known to avoid this hotel. Upon check out the woman at the front desk was rude. Not a thank you for being a guest and no print out receipt she said she’ll only email it. She acted as if we were an inconvenience to her day. Won’t recommend and will never stay at a Hilton hotel again.
