Wonderful hotel. Beautiful old building. Centrally located for the old town. Staff are really friendly. Rooms are well appointed and clean. The altitude gets you on the walk up the stairs but you get acclimatised quickly! The dining room has the best views in the city. And the breakfasts are really delicious. And the chef is fantastic at altering the offering for any dietary. Highly recommend

What REALLY stood out was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Yale, in particular went out of her way to ensure a great stay. The room was very clean, but for older or disabled folks, caution there are stairs, but there may be rooms on the ground floor.

A must stay if visiting Quito. Old world, charm, exceptional accommodations, and amazing customer service. What amazing place to stay in Quito in the heart of the historic district. The hotel is so charming and welcoming. Everyone was so friendly, helpful, spoke fluent English and provided exceptional service. Our room had a great view of the Virgin Mary and the beautiful mountain surrounding Quito. Breakfast was wonderful, cooked to order and they even personalize our plates. Check in and out was a breeze. They have a rooftop bar with awesome views and it is also where breakfast is served. We would highly recommend staying here. A big shout out to Yale and the rest of the front desk staff as well as the chefs for making this a memorable stay.

We booked the 3 bedroom apartment for a group of 4. Only downside we were unaware of was that one bedroom was off by itself and none of us really felt comfortable with that. The breakfast was great! Most staff amazing but had one gentleman at front desk who completely ignored us, did not even look up when we dropped off the key to checkout. Good location. Great rooftop. HOT water! Lots of steps- pack light!
