The resort was clean and staff was friendly. Complimentary breakfast everyday is very good. Overall just had a great time in Costa Rica and at Shana by the Beach. You will see monkeys sloths and toucans on the resort property.

We had a wonderful time a Shana by the beach! The authentic breakfast and delicious restaurant, the pool with constant World Cup games on and refreshing frozen fruit margaritas, and the beautiful walk to a secluded beach made this location perfect!

We had an enjoyable stay overall. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always happy to help, and the grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. The room, however, could have been cleaner upon arrival, which was a bit disappointing. With a little more attention to housekeeping, this would have been an excellent stay.

Overall we had a great stay and the staff were nice and helpful. The restaurant service and food quality could be better, but there are other restaurant options around. Wished the beach was a bit more private and the trail to get to the beach in better shape.
