🌺 Casa Flor – Costa Rican Charm Surrounded by Nature
Before booking, we invite you to read all the information about Casa Flor to learn about the amenities, features, and important details of the house. This will help you make sure the accommodation fits your needs and allows you to enjoy your stay even more.
Casa Flor is a cozy traditional Costa Rican home located in a pleasant local neighborhood in Manuel Antonio, surrounded by nature, plants, and trees. Enjoy an authentic local experience with the comforts you need during your stay.
📍 Excellent Location
Only a 10-minute drive from Manuel Antonio National Park, its beautiful beaches, and a great variety of restaurants.
You will also find supermarkets, small local restaurants, and a bus stop just a 4-minute walk from the house.
🏡 House Amenities
Ideal for families or small groups of up to 4 guests.
The house includes:
• 2 bedrooms:
Bedroom 1: one double bed and 2 fans.
Bedroom 2: two single beds and 2 fans.
❄️ Air Conditioning:
The air conditioning is located only in the living room. The bedrooms have fans only.
• 1 spacious bathroom with hot water available only in the shower. 💧
There is no hot water in the sink or kitchen.
• Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare your meals.
• Living room with TV (national channels).
• Simple semi-automatic washing machine with two compartments: one side is for washing and the other side is for spinning/drying.
Please do not wash shoes in the washing machine. Instructions for use are available inside the house.
❄️ Air Conditioning and Energy Saving
Please remember to turn off the air conditioning and appliances before leaving the house, going to the beach, or going on any activity.
This small gesture helps protect nature, save energy, and maintain a more sustainable environment for everyone. Your cooperation is very valuable to us. Thank you very much.
🔥 Additional Spaces
In the outdoor area, there is a traditional Costa Rican wood-burning stove, ideal for cooking with charcoal or firewood.
In the kitchen, you will find a lighter and fire starters to help light it.
If you would like to use it at night, it has a light with a switch located next to the black chairs.
The stairs have 19 steps, handrails, and automatic lights that turn on from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
(The house is not located on a hill; the stairs are close to the street and parking area.)
🚗 Parking
We have free outdoor parking inside the property, shared with other guests.
Please always park in the space marked with the “Casa Flor” sign, which is also visible in the listing photos.
🚫 Important:
Please do not flush toilet paper or any other objects down the toilet.
In Costa Rica, the plumbing system is delicate and can become easily clogged.
Please use the trash bin located next to the toilet.

🌺 New at the House!
Very soon we will have a small sales area with necklaces, rings, keychains, beach wraps (sarongs), handicrafts, and other typical Costa Rican products. 🇨🇷✨
🔒 The items will be kept inside a locked glass display case.

⚠️ Please be very careful with the display case, as it is fragile.
🛍️ Buying is not required; it is simply an option if you would like to take a small piece of Costa Rica home with you.
💡 Important Information About Electricity and Water
In Costa Rica, occasional electricity interruptions may happen due to maintenance or issues with the electric company. These situations are outside of our control and may affect the entire neighborhood.
For these situations, the house has small white emergency lights in some areas. To turn them on, simply press them manually.
There is also a lamp in the living room with an emergency light bulb that you can use if the electricity goes out.
In the hallway, there is a switch to manually turn on the emergency light if it does not activate automatically.
Please remember to turn off these emergency lights and the lamp once electricity returns to help conserve energy.
💧 The house has a water pump, so you will always have water available during your stay.
🧹✨ Guest Notice
If your stay is longer than 15 days, one month, or more, we offer one complimentary cleaning service once a week.
This cleaning includes changing blankets and towels and helps keep the house in good condition during your stay.
✅ This service is completely free.

📚 Inside the house, you will find an information book about tours that we have created especially for our guests. You will also find another book with recommendations for beaches, restaurants, and activities so you can enjoy your visit to the fullest.
🔒 There is a room in the house that remains locked. This space is used as storage for cleaning supplies and materials needed for preparing and maintaining the house. For this reason, it remains closed and is not available for guest use.
