"After reading the reviews about the Locale Hotel Grand Cayman, I had mixed feelings about what to expect. It turns out it was perfect for us! We had a large and very clean room with a kitchenette, couch, comfortable king bed and upstairs loft area. Every staff member we met were helpful and went out of their way to make sure our stay was the best..... and that is coming from someone who asked a lot of questions! There was a nice selection of choices for the included breakfast and the food was great. They provided all that you needed for the beach, including towels, chairs, beach bags, kids toys and intertubes. The concierge arranged for a taxi to the airport for us. We were surprised with a bottle of champagne delivered to our room for our New Year's celebration and a second bottle a few days later just for booking there. We like to try different beaches and while 7 mile beach was an easy 5-8 minute walk, we could also catch the bus out front and very easily go to other beaches or town. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend if you don't mind not being beachfront."

"The house is stunning and the back yard experience is surreal. We loved staying at Tatenda, experiencing every imaginable luxury and we enjoyed the ocean. Our favorite ocean experience was snorkeling the shipwreck SV Pallas, a sunken three masted iron sailing ship… an easy swim from the shore. The house is exceptionally maintained and superb quality. The property manager also went out of the way to accommodate any questions, make suggestions for activities and provided white glove treatment we really appreciated. The kids and family also enjoyed that the pool was heated providing for backyard fun even first thing in the morning when it was still cool out. "

"Great location!! Within walking distance to George Town and other beaches. Beautiful views of the ocean from patio, master and living room. Offered multiple items for beach use--cooler, two folding beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, etc. Complex is smaller with an elevator which was nice. Also has a pool and hot tub. Host checked in on us to see if we needed anything. Would definitely stay here again."
