If one is looking for the Calm Sunday by the pool , this is a party hotel and the vibe of the live DJ sets on sundays are key ! Extremely friendly ADULT only Hotel ! Several return visits booked already !

The hotel is stunning. It is new with a very modern, but comfortable aesthetic. There are thoughtful touches throughout the public areas in the lobby and both pool areas. It truly is a gem right in the middle of the city. And the staff are all fantastic.

The friendliest and most welcoming staff. Amenities were great, they even put balloons up upon request for my husband’s 40th birthday. The hotel is beautiful, great location, very walkable to anything you want, you name it, It was great.

Their staff is the best part of this experience. Everyone was so welcoming and accommodating. Especially as a solo traveler and an introvert, everyone was so warm and friendly From the front desk to the cleaning crew. The construction happening behind the hotel was a bit bothersome, but that's out of their control.

My stay at The Tryst Hotel in Puerto Vallarta was amazing, but what truly made it unforgettable was Taylor. From the very first moment, his warm smile and genuine kindness made me feel like I belonged there. He wasn’t just doing a job — his authenticity and beautiful spirit shined through in everything he did. I honestly felt like I was at home because of him. If I ever return to The Tryst, Taylor would be 95% of the reason why. People like him are rare, and he turned a great trip into something deeply memorable.

Great New Addition to the PV LGBTQ Hotel Exoerienc

A great stay at a much needed addition to Puerto Vallarta. Perfect location, extremely attentive and helpful staff, and a great vibe. Balcony room had a great view of Banderas Bay. Drag Brunch was tons of fun and great value. They’re still putting on some of the finishing touches for this new property but none of that impacted our stay.

Transferred from a subpar hotel in the area. Best move I could have made. Excellent accommodations and location short walk to Green Chairs beach. Staff was super friendly and made sure to point out the complimentary mini bar in the room. Only downside the elevator is super tiny. So be prepared to take the stairs if in a hurry.

Tryst was EXCELLENT! I visited the property in April 2025 and this is my first stay but certainly not my last. I've stayed at surrounding properties in the past but I have found my home away from home while visiting PV. Looking forward to the next time!

A lovely and unique hotel that is still in the process of becoming great. Billed as the first luxury LGBTQ hotel, The Tryst has all the makings of amazing. However, at the time of our stay (July ‘25) they were still a work in progress. Some construction is ongoing, one of the two guest elevators has not yet been installed, and there was some mix-up with staff on restaurant reservations for the drag brunch. Highly recommended that if you are staying for their very popular drag brunch that you triple confirm the reservation (both our room and two others had their reservations “lost”). That said, we were eventually accommodated and staff is overall quite lovely and very attentive to guest needs. For the price - you’ll expect perfection. They aren’t quite there yet — but a top tier property nonetheless.
