Marival Resort exceeded our expectations! We had an amazing stay and will definitely be back soon. The buffet had a great variety of delicious food, the pool and beach areas were always spotless, and every server we met was kind, friendly, and attentive. It’s also incredibly kid-friendly, which made traveling with our family so much easier. We highly recommend this resort and can’t wait to return!

Be aware the resort is good drive from Puerto Vallarta. The resort is definitely more for relaxation. At least for our family, everything opens late but that’s not a big deal if you don’t wake up early. Overall, the resort is beautiful, maintained and clean throughout. We would definitely return.

Resort is not luxury in my opinion. The only bar with beach views is run down, the view is blocked, and not inviting. Disappointed overall not what I expected.

As soon as we got there they tried to sell me “not a time share” but “a vacation club”. I didn’t go to a “luxury” resort to get a sales pitch (the moment I arrived before I even could get my room key). The overriding issue wasn’t the sales pitch, but the guy refused to take no for an answer and the exchange started to get heated. This was my first armony/marival resort (normally do secrets or presidente) and that stupid rude vacation club sales pitch will make it my last/only stay with this group. The resort was nice and most the staff were great.

Very nice room and views. Loved the main pool and ocean was easily accessible and nice for swimming. Staff was nice, room service was quick. Only negative was the food was prehistoric ok everywhere and they had barely any Mexican options. Couldn’t even get a quesadilla anywhere or tacos/guac to the room, instead they had things like burgers & chicken wings. Even the Mexican restaurant was unusual options, Italian restaurant was decent and I didn’t try “Silk” (Asian) but friends staying there said that was the best one
