We were seven days centred around a wedding at the resort and our stay was wonderfu. The property and the staff were amazing. The location is close to the marina and Uber in Puerto Vallarta now getting around super easy thinking about coming back again near the end of next October November, again

We stayed here last year and loved it, but under new Royal Holiday ownership the experience has gone downhill. What was once a relaxing trip turned into frustration from the start. The Good: Spacious Grand Suite (perfect for two couples) Decent-sized pool Quieter than the busy Romántica Zone The Bad: Check-in dragged on for 30 minutes with no explanation Forced into a “90-minute” timeshare pitch that lasted 4 hours; staff wouldn’t let us leave and became rude when we declined Promised extras for attending were never delivered Cockroaches in the rooms and a dirty private hot tub Staff gave conflicting information, making it hard to trust anything they said Pool bar refused us service an hour before posted closing time Strong smoke smell from nearby rooms — complaints didn’t resolve it Bottom Line: The suite and pool were nice, but the aggressive timeshare tactics, poor cleanliness, and lack of customer service overshadowed everything. Sadly, we won’t be back — next time we’ll choose another resort or an Airbnb.
