I do have to say our maid, Kimberly did a FANTASTIC job with our room. We were here for 2 weeks and she didn't skip a beat. I was surprised the hotel was not more accommodating, friendly and helpful. Our AC unit in our bedroom was not working and we asked numerous times for them to fix it and they never did. For us paying for the "penthouse suit" for two weeks, I would have thought they would have been more helpful. We asked for a late check out because our flight left at 5 pm and they would not give me an answer. The restaurant that is apart of their hotel had amazing waiters with the exception of one of them. We asked about getting a chair by the ocean and were told no because they had high priority people to take care of. We went down to the Tropicana where Alexis was the THE BEST!!

The room was clean and spacious, housekeeping did a great job daily with the exception of one day they took towels but forgot to bring any back. We did have the key stop working one time but wasn’t a big deal. Overall the hotel is showing some age but the staff were all excellent that we encountered and eager to help the customers. Definitely also recommend getting a massage from Luca’s, he does a great job. Overall very satisfied but would rate higher with some updates.

The pictures from online don't compare to the rooms im person. Verything is outdated or not working. I first had small room with 2 beds with a partial view if the ocean. The room had some issues with it like stains and holes in the curtains, stains on the sheets, termite damage around the bathroom door. I was able to talk to the hotel manager Daniel and was able to upgrade me to a Jr suite with 2 bedrooms with a great view of the ocean for an additional price for the room. Of course the suite was outdated like the rest of the Hotel. The water pressure in the main bathroom wasn't working properly. The toilet wouldn't flush very well and the shower didn't work well. Overall the Hotel was outdated and needs lot's of work. The Hotel manger was super nice among everyone else who helped out with the issue's. I wouldn't recommend on staying there unless you don't care about the hotel falling apart and want to stay at a cheap outdated hotel. I would spend a little more money and stay somewhere nicer. Was some problems. had some issues

I don’t usually leave reviews and I travel very often. This is my third time staying at Blue Chairs. I remember my first visit I read the reviews AFTER booking…. I was actually scared to arrive unsure of what to expect due to negative reviews that some people leave. This visit while enjoying some beautiful beach time and sun, I overheard one patron complaining, being so negative and loudly mentioning how badly he couldn’t wait to write his negative review which encouraged me-to leave this one. The staff are so kind despite the behaviours they are met with daily by uncultured and rude “travellers”. I have never had any issues with the rooms, they are always so clean, safe and air conditioning/balconies always working for me. You literally can walk to the beach, steps from your room and have a chair, beach and great service within metres of your room. Just remember before reading all the reviews that some of these monsters trolling one of the oldest and original LGBTQ+ businesses that we actually have left in our continent and people you may not want to even be sitting next to on the beach or heaven forbid travel with may be the ones writing that review…. Take it with a grain of salt sometimes and what you go looking for you will find in PVR!!! A magical place!! Thank you Blue Chairs for a safe, comfortable and lovely vacation!!! I will be back!! <3

Over all, no complaints but the 2 issues i had personality were the bathroom had 1 light, a tiny spot light in an alcove that pointed straight down in front of the mirror, it was impossible to shave, you just couldnt see ( no window or vent either) The other issue was the rooftop bar had shows every night and all day Sunday, the sound filled the entire open-air concept building ( i like my naps between dinnner and nightlife)

We were in a "breezy blue junior suite" which was a good size & had a kitchen, but no in room safe. The dining table was very carved but missing the glasstop surface so spilling was a constant issue. The room was a bit tired and the bathroom was cramped & tiny. The view was fantastic, but difficult to enjoy from our balcony because of the unrelenting pounding disco music from the Beach Club just below & left of the hotel from about 8:00am to 10:30pm. Actually couldn't even have our balcony doors open the music was so LOUD!!! So much so we cancelled our return stay.

The room was not like the pictures on the website. Kitchenette cabinetry old and deteriorating. Only coffee maker was a two cup with a carafe that didn't fit. One bathroom toilet did not fill properly. The entire hotel is rundown, the pool was cold and other mini pool was very murky. The one upside is the beach club clean, maintained, and beach service. Staff was great except few spoke english so getting them to understand requests required google translate.

Hello, we think the major problem is the service staff, i mean the servers from both the beach area and the rooftop area. They are just money driven, we were one day at the blue chairs beach area and the server was rude and gritty. The last time we went upstairs they told us to pay while we were enjoying the drag show and we were surprised by it. We payed we left to a another place to spend our pesos. Aldo we mostly spent our beach time at the green chairs next door, polite and nice servers over there.

This hotel is located right on the beach in the romantic zone, and it is an adults only which is nice, its in the older part of PV, but the hotel is quite run down and the images that they use to advertise the rooms on their website and the ones that Expedia uses are false to what they represent. The breezy Jr suite we had was in poor condition, the room looked like it had just been painted but poorly, paint splotches everywhere, paint over spray on the cabinets and side table, paint blobs all over the windows, the balcony and chairs were constantly covered in Pigeon poop so didnt use, the doors and locks on the door were janky and the deadbolt hardly latched closed, gaps around the door let all the noise in. The bathroom I don't even want to get into. There was really no place to store your clothes so you are living out of your suitcase, the TV in the room was missing the TV remote and when I inquired about it over 4 times nothing was done to rectify the situation, each time i asked I was told we will look into that and nothing ever happened, one even said that they will notify management and no-one ever contacted me to give me an update. Roof top bar is quite loud until 10-11pm each night with shows. The hotel is about a 15-20 min walk to the DT area as there are not many options to eat other than the beach front resort they offer, which wasn't great. Cost wise, I'd look elsewhere for accommodations.
