The hotel grounds were very nice and welcoming. Everything was very clean. Very friendly staff. The walk to Crash Boat Beach was a little longer than I expected, but still manageable. Highly recommend!!!

We did no have a great stay. The room was clean, but we found 2 cockroaches. The air conditioner was not properly working. It was constantly on and off and it had like a compressor problem with a strong noise that we couldn’t sleep. The bathroom air extractor had the same problem. My daughter complained about her air conditioner in her room and to be changed to another room and the front desk assistant told her that all air conditioners had the same problem. She was changed to another room and she opened the unit to inspect it, the filter was totally dirty and she said she could not do anything else, because the owners of the hotel know about that problem. We left yesterday the hotel aroun 4:00pm. We told him why we were leaving and he told me the only thing he could do was to reimburse me the parking expenses of $11.16 for the two days. I told him I paid in cash, but he insisted on giving me a credit in AE.What he really did it was to make a charge in my AE for $11.16. When I told him, he processed another transaction as an error and gave me the $11.16 in cash. Rally? It was a bad experience. We returned home last night.

The place was well kept, staff was extremely polite and courteous. The room was modern and comfortable. We had a great stay. My only recomendations are: pool need to have a heater, it was too cold.and could not enjoy them.

El Faro was a delightful surprise. The property was spotless, staff super friendly and the room was very well appointed. Check in and check out very efficient. The parking was spotless also, all in all one of the best paradores we have stayed. We will stay here again when we go back to the island.
