Sabor a la Vida is a beautiful one-story home in Las Conchas. It is a true Mexican-style home right on the water. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. We have 3 Queen size beds and a set of bunk-beds in the kid's room. There is a fully equipped kitchen. Entertainment options include satellite TV, CD player, and a Charcoal BBQ.

We also have a wood-burning fireplace in the living room, and in the enclosed court-yard. Both the front patio and the court-yard are furnished. Check out our photos to see how special Sabor a la Vida really is!

Las Conchas boasts miles of beach. The community is homes instead of condo towers, and it makes for a less hectic experience. Secure Las Conchas makes for a restful vacation. House isnt upkept very well. Couldnt find remote to shut off one of the ac units had it on the whole time and was freezing at night. None of the tvs worked. The internet was terribly. Didnt reach passed the living room. The fan in the living room was drooping because it was so old i was afraid to even turn it on. Smelled like a sewer after the first day. No towels and some items we had to go buy at the store. Some lights are so dim your basically showering in the dark. A room popped a breaker and nothing inside worked.

Our family of 7 stayed here and we loved Sabor a la Vida. Check in and key pick up at Casa Go was easy and they even recommended a few local restaurants for us to try out. The house was just like the pictures. It was beautifully decorated and there was plenty of space. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook all our meals. Pots, pans, griddle, waffle iron, toaster, mixing bowls, serving bowls, and place settings. They had it all, except there no washing machine or dryer. We also made full use of the charcoal grill and fire pit. Each room had its own A/C and we were very comfortable during our stay. Some reviews had mentioned issues with bugs, smells and water pressure but we didn't notice any of those things. They had a few towels in each bathroom for us and a couple small bottles of soap, etc. We loved being right on the beach. The views were beautiful and we enjoyed being able to sit on the patio while the kids played in the water and sand. There were lots of vendors on the beach. We bought several fruit drinks, bracelets, tamales and souvenirs. We were also able to rent jet skis and banana boat rides right on the beach front.

The house was full of stairs and we had family members tripping and hurting themselves. It was actually hazardous! I had to tape things on the stairs and sacrificed a table cloth so that my family would "see " the stairs and not trip.. but they were everywhere. The worst was in the master bedroom with the sliding door. Getting up in the middle of the night without a light was horrible and my husband and I both hurt ourselves on that. Also the place was set up for 10 people but there were'nt enough silver wear, or towels and we ran out of toilet paper! For all the money we spent, it should have been better stocked

The view and outside set up is right on the beach. It is easy to watch kids , play on the beach and get to house for food . Tides come up nice and high so you have the beach at times right in your backyard.

Family Beach Trip

My family of 8, three couples and two grown up kids, fit perfectly in this beach house! We loved that the rooms were spread out enough to give some space while still feeling very together. The kitchen had all the things we needed for cooking, which was super convenient! We loved the courtyard area in the middle, so cute! We quite enjoyed the beach access as well! The beach was rather steep to get to the water, so the older couple just enjoyed the view from the large patio! There are steps throughout the house which can be a hassle for those with walking difficulties, but overall would stay here time and time again! Thank yall for a great experience!

The location is great - on the beach, no rocks, easy to find. The house is nice, but needs some work. The center courtyard smelled horribly- like sewer gas - which traveled to other rooms of the house. Several of the lights in the living room and on the patio were burnt out. And the charcoal grill is in horrible condition with cracks in the bottom and didn’t feel safe to use. We didn’t run out of water, but we’re very concerned the whole time due to warnings that we could run out.

Mexico 2024

Overall was great. Did run out of water which we didn’t understand. We got there after 5 no one took a shower only a few took a shower in morning and we were gone all day. When we got back spent the time on beach then those that didn’t take a shower in the morning decided to take one and there was no water. However they refilled within 2 hours even thou it was after 5 . Did have my Mom of 93 so the steps were an issue. All in all it was great!

“Not VRBO” This is CasaGo

Upon booking this stay I sent a chat message through the VRBO app and received no reply. That should’ve been my first hint that this wasn’t going to go smoothly. I unknowingly get a non-VRBO email telling me to sign a Casago rental agreement?! I never got a personalized communication within the VRBO app explaining how this rental differs from typical VRBOs. Then I find out I have to meet someone at an office to sign more documents, and get my picture taken?! I never heard back from the chat message. The emails I eventually found were from multiple senders: “helpdesk”, “homes”, and “Casago Rocky Point”. No where in the email body did it say anything about needing to come to this office in order or pick up keys to your rental. It was listed in some attachment that they wanted me to sign?! I’ve always been able to go straight to the rental house and used a key code to get in in Europe and the U.S. THEN to top it off, they charge me a $20 “late check-in fee”. After sitting in stopped traffic for 3 Hours at the border they want to penalize me $20?! Never have I been charged a late CHECK IN. Now, upon arrival to the house we found there were no visible instructions for connecting to the wifi. Then we noticed there was no information to point guests to the nearest grocery/restaurants/hospital/pharmacy/etc. There was no instruction on connecting to the tv/cable/etc. Not enough utensils. The center courtyard smelled like sewer until we covered a grate with a mat. I could go on…

Mother’s Day 2024

We come to Rocky Point every year for Mother’s Day and loved this place. It had everything we needed. My only issue was that the direct tv had little to no channels, I was able to log into my Netflix so at least we had that. One TV in the rooms didn’t have the power cord. But even with that we would definitely come back.

Amazing House!

We had three couples come and stay. Everyone had their own bathroom which was a plus. Loved being right on the beach in the quiet neighborhood. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to whip up breakfasts, lunch and dinner.

...if you see this don't let it ruin your vacation

First day we arrived smelled like gas but I thought it was mildew...i started getting super nauseated and when my son showed up he found the oven gas turned on-thank god he saw it or we could all have had a tragic ending--called after hours and was not able to get a hold of anyone. Cockroaches.-GIANT, Big and Small...omg, not comfortable to go outside at night...and then in the master bath/bed room--so so many we closed off the room with a towel the last night after electricity went for couple hours--so so bad -just thinking what I slept with the nights prior--worse experience in 25 years staying in rocky point. So many more things...but if these don't stop you in your tracks well...not sure what would.
