Would stay here again! The owner was very nice and helpful - we only staid a few nights and went there without having any excursions booked. She was able to find us tours with our very tight timeline and we were able to experience the area without pre-planning at a great price! Location was great, room was clean and comfortable, and AC worked great.

Great location, clean rooms and common areas, friendly staff
Location close to the beach and restaurants and stores, bus station walking distance, Hotel has amazing views, Pool was perfect and staff was very friendly, we stayed in Diamanté room highly recommended.
This hotel is clean , hotel it is located on a hill away from the touristy area. A good amount of walking is required to get to Zicatela Beach where the nice beaches and dinning places .
Too much litter around. It was very noisy and the streets smelled bad.
The hotel itself was very nice and comfortable. The staff were friendly and very helpful.
Such a cute place! Very close to food, shopping and most importantly the beach!! All walking distance from this hotel. Also, I do not speak Spanish or read it very well and everyone at the hotel was very friendly and helpful and patient with me. I am an American woman who was traveling alone and I felt very safe here. Thank you so much for making my stay in Mexico so welcoming!!!
Great location, great staff. It was a good choice.

Sorry
Property was very well kept.
Everything was excellent and staff friendly and helpful and available.
I would say the only draw back to this property is it is on a hill with many stairs. But this is a common situation for most hotels in the area, the price for the beautiful beach views.
I had a horrible stay. The power went out for about 5 hrs and it was so hot and dark. They didn’t have a back-up generator. Didn’t feel safe. Thank god the power came back on late night and I was able to see with some the fan and ventilation. It was extremely noisy in that area. Alot of foot and car traffic. And the church across the street from us had an event with loud sound system. Although beautiful to see people in congregation and hear the music it was loud!
I liked the cleanliness. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The amenities were in good condition. The building was safe. The service was excellent. The hotel in itself was excellent. The only things we didn't like was that the church in front of the hotel rang their bell very loudly, every day at 6:15, 6:30 and 6:45 in the morning. It woke us up every day at that time. We couldn't stay out late because we knew we would be awoken early in the morning. For this I would recommend to bring earplugs. The second thing that was just okay was the location. It was not close to the touristy locations. You either have to walk 20 minutes to get to Rinconada or take a cab to Zicatela or La Punta.

Cons: Expedia said Spanish/English language. NOBODY at the hotel speaks English.
Pool hours close at 9pm. Pool was in operation till 11:00 pm on 3 of 6 nights and quite noisy as a result.
Pets not allowed - yet noticed dog poop outside our door twice.
After 6 days the room safe still not operational.
While the staff was polite and friendly they didn’t seem overly concerned about much. It does not seem to them that they are running a hotel.
Stay was OK but we expected much more given the price and the generally glowing reports.
I read good reviews on Casa Mia, and not just from the Expedia website, hence the reason I stayed here. I upscaled my stay with the premium suite for the outstanding ocean view. What I didn't know from my research, was how intense the noise would be from across the street!
The staff were friendly, and the hotel secure and clean. The hotel location was close to restaurants, Playa Principal and the Night Market. I am slightly under 6', but my feet would overhang on the bed. The shower water would take a few minutes to heat up, while the air conditioner and the fridge worked well. The view from the balcony was spectacular, and the hotel pool was refreshing.
The noise prevent me from getting deep sleep. I am happy that my last two nights in Puerto Escondido were spent at another hotel in Rinconada where I had two super quiet nights that yielded in deep sleep.
EL LUGAR ES ACOJEDOR, SI TU PLAN ES ESTAR TODO EL DIA FUERA Y SOLO LLEGAR A DORMIR ES UNA EXCELENTE OPCION, ESTA MUY CERCA DE LA PLAYA, BAJANDO EL HOTEL SE ENCUENTRA UN PEQUEÑO ANDADOR DONDE PUEDES ENCONTRAR RECUERDOS Y MUCHAS COSAS MAS , EL PERSONAL ES MUY AMABLE Y SOBRE TODO JESUS QUIEN LOS PUEDE APOYAR CON RECOMENDACIONES DE COMIDAS, LUGARES Y TOURS, UN EXCELENTE PERSONAL Y AMABLE
