The hotel was exceptionally quiet and clean, exuding a modern and wonderful ambiance. The staff, particularly Fernando and Daniel, were exceptional and incredibly helpful, providing us with wonderful recommendations. The restaurant next door also had a fantastic staff. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return. It’s very LGBTQ+ safe and welcoming. The location is perfect for walking to La Punta and Zicatela. However, if you prefer not to pay for cabs to the swimmable beaches, we recommend renting a car or an ATV. We also loved the rooftop pool, which was a great place to relax and enjoy the sunset.

Casa mava is the best place to stay in puerto! The staff is amazing, very friendly, helpful and gave great suggestions. This place is great to stay if you want to be in a quiet location away from the noise of La punta and zicatela but still close enough to walk to either one. The property is very clean, especially for somewhere on the beach. My Birkenstock broke while I was there and I asked front desk if they had tape and they did me one better and took my shoe and glued it back together, talk about 5* star service. I would definitely stay at casa mava again

Fernando and his team are truly some of the kindest people I’ve ever encountered. I had a medical emergency during my stay, and they went out of their way to support me with genuine care and compassion. It’s something I will never forget. Beyond that, the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful—thoughtfully designed and incredibly welcoming. I highly recommend this hotel, not only for its aesthetic and comfort, but for the extraordinary people behind it.

Excellent place to stay!! They were really welcoming once we arrived and were always aware in case we needed something. The personnel was really kind and friendly and the zone where Casa Mava is really in the middle of every, so you could go walking everywhere. As well, the beach is really close so we didn’t have ti walk long distances.
