10 min walk to Zocalo. No dining facilities other than very few street vendors. Area around seems like old, closed businesses or homes. Hotel is beautifully renovated & staff are very friendly & helpful. Neighbourhood needs to be restored to make this hotel work. While great value for stay, next visit I would stay closer to Zocalo.

The employee who took care of my family was unkind, not helpful and rude. When I tried contacting the property they didn't want to communicate me with the manager, they asked me to submit my complaint through a generic email and if they were interested in talking with me they would contact me later on.

Don't get fooled by the price!

If you're used to amenities from regular hotels such as coffee maker or mini fridge, this is not the place for you because it does not have any of that. BUT that is not the problem. The basic features of a hotel such as safety, service, hot water and assistance from some of the staff are terrible. This guy Miguel was so rude and unprofessional. The tv wasn't working, the door would hit the sink so you can't really open it, and were only two outlets to plug in electronic devices. This obviously someone's weird investment on a questionable neighborhood with terrible construction and poor management. Don't get fooled by the prices online, look for something closer to the downtown area.

Property doesn't offer at least a small fridge in every room, no A/C or even a cheap fan (it gets hot & muggy inside a room with no ventilation) and a window facing hallways: if opened, guest loses all privacy. One restaurant they recommend is good but closes around 8pm. All others eats are no less than 10 min. Neighborhood can be intimidating: said to be safe but I wouldn't walk it after 8pm, unless it is 2 o more people.
