From 1980-1984 I put myself through Brigham Young University working as a waiter in this mansion when it was a high-end restaurant. I love what has been done to it! It is a beautiful Bed and (light) Breakfast. If you like charming, historical stays at a very reasonable price, this is for you.

Staying at Hines Mansion is an experience that is very different than a hotel. We have been here four times now and have LOVED the experience for different reasons each time. The historic nature and feel of the building is a huge plus for us, in addition to the nostalgia of staying there for our honeymoon 22 yrs ago.

No staff. No Housekeeping. Roof leaked. Make sure to check that your room has shower as only one room has shower and all others have a bath tub. Not good place to stay for extended days and would only plan on spending one night at most.

Parking was easy, staff was friendly, the air conditioning kept the room cool. They also had a fan available. The tub was amazing and it had a shower wand. You do need to be able to climb a few steps to get into the tub. We loved our stay and will be going again in August. Breakfast was several cereal choices, instant oatmeal, and breakfast bars, donuts, and muffins. There was a fridge with water bottles, juice, yogurts and milk.
