Warm and knowledgeable hostess. Personally welcomed each guest and showed us to our rooms. Breakfast served between 0800-0830 so we missed it both days as we had already left for adventures at Acadia National Park which is slightly over an hour away. Smelled delicious. Recommended local restaurants with good food. View was beautiful, room was clean and comfortable. Would stay here again and plan to enjoy breakfast and more conversations.

Very clean and comfortable. Gail was our precious hostess. She had a full house by herself. Her daughter was out of town. But she handled everything wonderfully. Provided a delicious breakfast 2 mornings we were there. Beautiful Inn with Prospect Bay right across the street. The only thing I would suggest is working on the landscaping a bit.

Elsa’s was a perfect place to rest and get away from the the crowds in Bar Harbor. The rooms and inn were kept up with care. Our host was amazing he made some of the best stuffed French toast I have ever had. The location was perfect to see the northern part of Acadia natl park, it was nice to have its so close and away from the crowds. The beds were soft and comfy and the harbor across the street was beautiful looking out from our room. Wonderfull place to stay and I would only stay at Elsa’s for any return visit!

Loved the location. Right on the beach. Plenty of chairs. Close to everything around Cape Cod. Nothing better then going to sleep with the sliding glass door open to hear the waves!

A precious lady, Gail, welcomed us to her Inn. She had a full house of 12 to serve as hostess for morning breakfast which was excellent! The second morning was delicious as well. Gail’s daughter was out of town for medical testing for the week, leaving her to carry the load of which she did wonderfully. Our room was clean and comfortable. The only thing that I would recommend would be to tidy up the landscaping. It would improve the exterior of the beautiful Inn. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Elsa’s Inn to the utmost of pleasure. Gail is such a sweet lady with a cute disposition and an amazing cook!

The place was suppose to be 3 miles travel to Bar Harbor. It was 3 miles as the crow flies.. But, there is a ferry to Bar Harbor. To drive to Bar Harbor-its 1 hour 30 minutes. So 3 hours round trip. The Bars and attractions are at Bar Harbor. If you want Quiet. No attractions this is your place.
