Prince Rupert is, at the moment, in a depression, which makes the surrounding area less than attractive. The only complaint about the room (and this is common to most motels) is that, for those customers who tend to read at night, there is not appropriate light - so that a reading couple are almost compelled to use two beds, in order to have adequate light. Also, bed-side tables or shelves are needed on both sides to have room to put down glasses, books, and/or knitting.

We loved the nautical theme of the place both inside and out. Our room was great and the breakfast room was one of the best we've seen. It was easy to find the hotel when we left the ferry.

Room was clean but the windows leaked. Told the front desk, he said, and I quote, “the windows in this place are crap”. The remote controls (yes there were 2) were temperamental. I WOULD NOT recommend this place.

Good but for one issue.

Great front desk service, good breakfast set up with multiple options. Room well equipped and pleasant for the price. Unfortunately when entering there was a smell of damp dog and cleaning product. The carpet had obviously ben recently cleaned and was still wet. Could not walk in bare or stocking feet.

Great value for money!!

Very comfortable beds for a restful sleep. Plenty of fresh towels for the whole family. Great continental options for breakfast. Although a slightly older establishment, the staff and owners work diligently to keep it clean. We had a very pleasant stay.
