Welcome to The Woodpecker Retreat, our spacious 3-bedroom cottage at Black River Cottages, thoughtfully set along the peaceful Black River in Prince Edward County.

Ideal for families, friends, or small groups, this cottage comfortably sleeps up to six and offers a relaxed, welcoming space to truly settle in. Inside, you’ll find a full kitchen, cozy living areas, and plenty of room to gather — while outside, the river, green space, and fresh air invite you to slow down and enjoy being together.

Guests love the balance here: space for kids to play freely, quiet moments by the water, and evenings around the fire. Kayaks and canoes are included, and the property offers a large playground, open lawns, and a calm, family-friendly atmosphere.
