Do not stay here!!!!

The air conditioner/heater would not turn off and it was stuck on the air conditioning. The high for the day was 70° so the room was freezing all night. We really didn’t sleep well because it was so cold. The hotel staff said they didn’t know why it was happening, but that was the end of that. The doors did not have any weatherstripping so you could hear the kids running up and down the hallway all night and they were literally running not just occasionally running. They were running back-and-forth back-and-forth. When we got there, we were told the elevators were not gonna be able to be working for a while because they were replacing the carpet so we had to wait until we could get the elevators being my mom is elderly. She can’t climb the stairs. The doors did not latch appropriately. They rattle they were not safe. The toilet was wobbly, the tubs were so slick that my elderly mother didn’t feel safe taking a shower the next morning. And it was filthy. I wish I could upload the video of how loose the door was because we did not feel safe all night. And the way that people came to breakfast at this place, barefoot, no decorum, and other people had blankets wrapped around them with no shoes. I get it’s a hotel, but it is not their personal hotel room or their house there is a certain decorum that’s expected, but not at this place.

Hotel is in a convenient location since it was close to shopping and restaurants in Prescott and Prescott Valley. Lots of parking that were close to the numerous entrances/exits. The male staff member that checked us in was nice, but the rest of the staff were not very friendly. Some didn't even greet or acknowledge us. Room was very spacious. Floor was a little dirty but we noticed it since we remove our shoes at the door. Breakfast was decent. It was nice to have freshly baked banana bread (bundts) for breakfast daily. There was Dove shampoo & conditioner. The body wash was a different brand but smelled nice. I think it was a brown sugar and spice scent. They were changing out the carpets on each floor so there were carpet strips (removed from base of wall) that were just laying around. I thought that was a little dangerous as there were staples sticking out. Staff did not say anything about the carpet replacement. However, because of the size of the room, convenient parking and location, I would probably stay there the next time I am in Prescott.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was a little dated but clean and comfortable. It is a pet friendly location so we were able to bring our puppy friends with us. Staff waa friendly and professional. Continental breakfast in the morning was good. Coopers Pub on site was good food and fun as well.

Great place and will come back again

Great hotel that we've stayed at many times. The indoor pool is wonderfu for all weather, the grounds are beautiful, the breackfast is good and the staff is friendly. Only complaints this time is that the hot tub wasn't hot, but warm. They were doing something with the carpet on the 2nd floor and there were pieces of carpet everywhere.

We have stayed at several hotels in the Prescott area and this is the first one I would stay at again. Room was great, location was great, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I loved the addition of banana bread at breakfast and Dove products in the bathroom. We’ll be back!
