Great views. Friendly staff. Great amenities. Only one restaurant available for dining below hotel and they were hosting an event inside when we arrived. No signs anywhere about an event. We were turn away as it was busy so we asked to sit outside since it was empty just to enjoy the view but they decline too. We said we wouldn’t need a menu or drinks or need any service. Just sitting outside the patio - still declined.

This is our 3rd or 4th time staying here. We have stayed at other hotels in the area but this one has a beautiful balcony ocean view. Its quiet, clean, a/c, laundry, restaurant, and beer store. The front desk staff is always great. The other staff is as well except for this time. A younger girl had attidude everytime we asked for something such as towels and garbage bags. We stayed for a week and did not want or expect our room done up during our stay. Maybe our room was not hers. Im not sure. She was always one we could see availabe when we were. We did not let her ruin our trip tho. We reccommend staying here!

Nice room with beautiful view from balcony. Was very upset that restaurant was closed as it is a 5 km walk to town to eat.The reason we booked so far out of town was that we could eat there. Having to uber to town to eat was a pain. We wanted to have a drink with dinner and not drive.

We stay at this property when my husband is away for work. He loves the old school style gym and is the reason he continues to stay there. Rooms are clean but walls are thin and most rooms have a door between so we could hear our neighbors like they were in our room. Also this visit we had upstairs neighbors who were fighting and just noisy. We could hear every word rhey were syaing. Its nice to have a waterfront view tho. Beds are comfy so All in all i give it a 4. I hope they start their new build soon cause it would also be nice to have a pool.

Great location. Front desk staff was amazing. Our first room we were given wasn’t clean. Front desk rectified it immediately. Housekeeping didn’t make it to our room 2nd day despite being gone majority of the day. Front desk was great having us stop in to get new coffee supplies. View of the ocean was amazing. Beds comfortable. Will try somewhere else next time but overall would recommend.

Stayed 14 days (over $4G) and was very disappointed with our experience. Customer service was poor. Far from a 'resort'. It is rundown, no working pool, all faucets leaked, did not receive advertised on-site continental breakfast. When pressed, they grudgingly provided breakfast coupons to their sister hotel (10 mins drive) and the breakfast was disappointing. No choice in items, insisted that guest get random items as they were not allowed to specify what type of fruit, flavor of yogurt or whether you get a pastry/muffin, even though there was obviously available items to choose from. Housekeeping was minimal at best. And a couple of times, they didn't even make the bed as they claimed a personal item was left on it (one time a scrunchie was found in the bed so they stopped making the bed, but had obviously moved the scrunchie to the top of the bed. So they can touch it, but decided to leave it on the bed and not finish making the bed/changing the sheets instead of moving it to the bed table! Another time, there was a small personal throw at the foot of the bed, so they didn't touch the bed.) When I asked for extra towels, they wrote a note that they ran out, but later, I was able to get extra towels at the front desk. When we called the GM to voice our concerns, we got excuses and a basically "don't care, your problem" attitude. No solutions, nothing to compensate for the lack of pool & inconvenience of driving to a lackluster breakfast. Will not be staying here again.

Clean and well equiped room with comfortable beds. Quite enjoyed the Seasider restaurant for diner one night. Very quiet. Nice balcony to watch the whales and the eagles.
