The breakfast had all kinds of goodies. Oatmeal, with several toppings to choose from. The hot menu seems to change from day to day. We were there for a week, had eggs & bacon one day, then sausage patties and links the next. They surprised me on day 4 by having spinach quiche! Cereals, juice, breads, ect. also available. Coffee, tea, & hot cocoa 24/7. Our suite had everything we needed. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook and eat. Bathroom has FULL SIZE shampoo, conditioner, and body wash! Heated indoor pool! Oh, and what really made us book here: Dog friendly!! I really have no complaints about our stay BUT the parking situation. $45/day valet, meters, or parking garage? Booo! But I'll still stay here again!

We love the Residence Inn, and have been staying here for years. Unfortunately, the big parking lot next to the hotel is being redeveloped. You have to use valet parking now, and the price for parking went up from $30 to $45 a night. Some of the ease with which you could arrive and stay here is lost. Obviously, there is also a big construction site in front of your window. Let‘s see how this turns out in the next two years.

The pullout sofa bed was terribly thin and very uncomfortable. It should not be marketed for 4 adults with that quality of sofa bed mattress as the “2nd bed” We could not valet park last nite as they said they were “full” and we spent 30mins driving around and around to find a spot to leave our car

The location is great. Comforting curbside appearance. The neighborhood is filled with great finds in dining. Our suite was clean with exception of some hair we found in our tub/shower. Overall the furniture is showing its age.The valet parking guys were excellent!

Great location. Very good condition. Shower control has flow control too. I hate hotels where you can't control the flow. We did tell the hotel. It would be nice if they had more towel racks or hooks in the bathroom to hang the bathtubs. Also, if you don't want to pay the valet service you can just drive your car yourself to the Foundry garage 3 blocks away. Breakfast was good. We did give feedback that we wish there were were real cutlery and ceramic plates instead of plastic, plastic and plastic and plastic. There is a lot to do in Portsmouth. There is dining and shopping. There are tour boats that go out to the isles of shoals and the beach is in Rye.
