My wife and I headed to Portsmouth NH for a last minute getaway. Met by a very friendly and professional receptionist. Our room wasn't ready so he upgraded us to a suite. We headed out for the day. The valet was very helpful with recommendations. The next morning breakfast was adequate and we headed home. Very nice stay.

Friendly team and a very nice facility. The television in our room wasn't working and the maintenance team member who came up to repair was helpful, respectful and quickly transferred us to another room on the same floor when he determined that it would take more time to repair and reprogram. He's a real asset. Thanks to all.

Both boilers broke while we were there, so there was no hot water for a shower on our last night or last morning. I also wish I knew there was no free parking at the hotel. $45 per night for valet parking is a bit steep. They did comp us the parking because of the hot water issue, which I appreciated. Otherwise we had a great stay.

Great Staff, the room was spotless, the breakfast spread was great. I would recommend they replace the tv in the room. Each evening when i returned to the room i had to call for someone to come and reset it because the previous guests damaged the HDMI port. Finally i got tired of the ritual and kept the tv on non-stop which in turnsaffected my sleep the last two nights.

The hotel was great all around. The only reason for the three star was because there was no hot water in the morning for showers. Apparently the boiler broke, and they had to call someone to fix it, and while we know it was out of their control, it was disappointing not to be able to shower. Otherwise the hotel was very nice.!

The really disappointing feature is that the shower water was not at all strong. I was looking forward to a nice shower. The place has been renovated, but the rooms look like a luxury jail cell. I hope they didn’t pay the designers very much to do that. Otherwise the clientele was good. Oh, one thing the snacks are way overpriced.
