The hotel is located in the city centre, close to restaurants, shops and all the tourist attractions. The room was clean and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was basic but nice. The only negative was our room was located at the front of the hotel (roadside). So there was a fair amount of noise, it sounded like the window was open but it was shut. There is a night club next door, so on Saturday night it was extremely noisy with people arriving and leaving until 6am. I would stay here again but I would recommend bringing earplugs.

The hotel has exited my expectation. Nice decor, very clean, comfortable, eco friendly. The location can't be any better, right in the center of old town. There was initially some confusion with retrieving my booking, but the receptionist dealt with it promptly and professionally. It’s a lot of walk from the Hotel but you have to be in shape and wiling to do all the walking. It’s a great walk along the sea, bridges to cross and a lot to get lost on. This was one of the greatest tour my wife and I did. Be fit for all the walk, if you’re not, get one of the 6 bridges Yacht tours and enjoy the view and the snakes!

Rooms are music and theater based, clean and comfortable bed. Surprisingly quiet even with Festa de Sao João happening outside. Bonus was eggs at breakfast!
