Crispy clean. Super helpful ladies at the reception, warm and accommodating of any requests (like getting me a charger or umbrella or keeping bags extra, helping with directions etc) . The place is good but needs some more building rehabilitation. The balcony fence at my room was broke and unstable, it is a potential danger to any client, including kids. The idea of preserve the building as it was builded is not bad, but even so this needs a better maintenance.

The location is excellent, very central but quiet too with plenty of good dining choices within a few minutes walk - one right opposite. The breakfast has everything you need and very generous times, right up to 12 o'clock. The staff were all extremely welcoming. Our 'superior room' on the top/fourth floor had a great view and was perfectly clean with an excellent shower; the hotel generally has a nice feel of a century-old glamour. Obviously, would recommend.

Great location, lovely room, very clean, helpful staff. I booked one night and ended up staying three nights. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Didn’t eat at hotel so can’t comment on food. Was a little noisy at weekend, ask for garden room for quieter room.
