We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The on-site restaurant was wonderful! All staff members we met provided excellent quality service! Our room was spacious and modern and it was very quiet for a good night's sleep. Only negative point was that our (king-sized) mattress seemed to be due for replacing as some springs were "poking" us. But thankfully, after walking 14km that day, I had no trouble sleeping, lol. Loved the historic character/charm. We would definitely recommend this hotel!

I've never stayed in anything quite like this. It's truly a castle! Beautiful rooms with high ceilings, gilded moldings, tile murals, lovely linens, art. Gated entry and parking on site. Shout out to Joanna and Pedro, receptionists who lugged bags and passed along birthday notification to the breakfast staff, who serenaded my daughter on her birthday that morning.
